Devotional: The Original Mindset
When we accept and live with the knowledge that we are made in God’s image, we also find that we were given dominion by God – the power and authority to act as God’s agents. Being his agent does not mean that we have absolute authority, though – it is delegated – we act on His behalf and represent Him.
Our mindset must be just that – that we are given dominion and authority – but it is only to act on God’s behalf as agents of change amongst His creation. Our mindset has to be connected to the image of God and to the agency that God has given us. If the enemy can disconnect us from God, He can separate us from the plan of God and the authority of God.
