Activity:

Today we are going to act out the story using toys you have from home.  You can use whatever you have like legos, action figures, and even popsicle sticks!

Find a toy to represent Samuel and another toy to represent Eli. Next, create a temple out of blocks or legos. Finally, make two beds. Now you can act out the story! You can do it by yourself or with your sibling or parents 🙂 

Questions:

Who did Samuel think was calling his name? He thought Eli was calling his name but it was really God calling him!

What did Eli tell Samuel to say to God? “Speak Lord, your servant is listening!”

What did God tell Samuel? A special message about the future, a prophecy

Who loves to talk to us? God loves to talk to us!
