Even though everyone is special to God and created in HIs image, not everyone lives for His special purposes. The key difference between special and common is not the difference between sacred and secular – special purposes are for every person of God. As a Christian, everything that we do should have the image and heart of Christ on it. 

Questions For Meditation

  1. Why do special purposes require cleansing? 
  2. What is the process of cleansing that God does in our lives? 
  3. What is God’s process of cleansing getting you ready for in your life? 
  4. How does cleansing create clarity for us? 
  5. At what times in your life has God re-routed you and created clarity for you? 
  6. In what ways do you still need clarity in your life? How can the fast, and praying into your special purposes, bring that clarity?
