Devotional: Learn The Gospel
Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This verse reminds us of the consequences of sin and the gift of salvation that is available to us through Jesus Christ.
Sin is a powerful force that separates us from God and leads us down a path of destruction. The wages of sin is death, both physical and spiritual. However, God offers us a gift that is far greater than anything we could earn or deserve. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive the gift of eternal life and be reconciled to God. This gift is not something that we can earn or achieve through our own efforts, but rather it is freely given to us by God’s grace. As we reflect on this verse, let us be reminded of the great love that God has for us and the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. Let us live our lives in gratitude for the gift of salvation that we have received and strive to honor God in all that we do.
