Devotional: A Revelation of Who He Is

In Matthew 16:13-19, we see Jesus asking his disciples who people say he is. This exchange reminds us that our knowledge of God and our identity as His children is not something we can acquire solely through human effort or intellect. It is a revelation that comes from the Father, and it anchors our identity and purpose. Living in fresh revelation means seeking to know God more deeply and intimately every day. We cannot rely on past experiences or second-hand knowledge of God. We must be intentional in seeking a personal revelation of who God is and what He desires for us. As we anchor our identity in Christ, we are released to live the life God has called us to. We are empowered to fulfill our purpose, use our gifts, and share the love of God with others. Let us seek to live in fresh revelation and allow it to shape our lives, so we can be effective witnesses for Christ in the world.
