Serve Others Into Greatness
Our heart is to help people meet Jesus, and become all that God intended for them to be! On Saturday, November 23rd, we will be serving in homeless and immigrant shelters, and ministering on the streets of Chicago, bringing the hope of Jesus while sharing a Thanksgiving meal. 1. What is Love + Serve Thanksgiving 2024?
Love & Serve Thanksgiving is an opportunity for everyone that calls CT their home to serve our city with the love of Jesus.
2. What will be happening?
This year, we will be serving at multiple locations: Zakat Immigrant Shelter, Breakthrough Women’s/Men’s Shelter, and participating in street evangelism at Humboldt & Millennium Park.
3. What time is the event?
All the events will take place from 5pm until 9pm.
4. Will there be transportation?
No. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool and we will meet on-site.
5. I am a volunteer, where should I park?
Street parking will be available at every location.
6. What else can I expect?
We will be sharing a Thanksgiving meal at every location. Volunteers will cook and bring food already made. When you sign up to serve, there will be a form listing suggested food items. Attire is casual and we suggest you wear comfortable shoes.
