What To Expect Meet The Leader Serve

Mission

Our mission here at the Treehouse is to raise up the next spirit-filled generation that will change the word! We serve children ages 0 – 5 years old.

Children are our heritage from God and we believe in investing the best in them through our time, resources, love, and heartfelt service.

What To Expect

Treehouse children are cared for and taught by loving volunteers who are called to raise up the next spirit-filled generation. Children are welcomed into a fun atmosphere where they can grow and learn to fall in love with Jesus!

In the baby room, we play, sing worship songs, pray, and sow seeds of faith through stories about Jesus. We offer individually packed cheerios as a snack. In addition, there is a nursing room for our nursing moms inside the baby classroom!

In the toddler room, we play, discover, worship, and learn impactful stories about Jesus in an age-appropriate way. We offer individually bagged veggie straws and water as a snack.

In the preschool room, children will be taken on a Bible adventure during their class. We play, worship, and learn a Bible story through dynamic storytelling, which is reinforced through crafts and hands-on activities. We offer individually bagged veggie straws and water as a snack.

On Sunday mornings, the Treehouse doors open to welcome children at 8:30 am and 10:30 am. On Tuesday nights, the Treehouse doors open to welcome children at 6:30 pm. All of our classrooms and toys are sanitized before and after each service. Please stop at the CTKid’s check-in table and then drop off your child at the appropriate class.

CT Kids Lead: Amanda Valdes

Amanda was born in Georgia and moved around the United States throughout her childhood.  From a young age, she was called to serve children.  She has her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois and her Master’s degree in Special Education from National Louis University.  Amanda had a career in special education in Lake Forest before being called to serve at Chicago Tabernacle, where she has been a member since 2012.  She has been blessed with a husband, and together they have a sweet little boy.  Amanda’s heart is that the children of God would be blessed and mighty in the land through the power of Jesus Christ.

Have a prayer request?

We will pray for your request for thirty days at our prayer meetings, as will the Intercession Ministry. Prayer request cards are also available at all of our weekly services or the church office.
